Meet UltraGreen™
If a tender asked for embodied carbon data today, could you provide it with confidence?…Without losing hours tracking down documentation?
Across sectors such as data centres and large infrastructure projects, carbon claims alone are no longer enough. Procurement teams increasingly require demonstrable CO₂ reduction supported by verified, audit-ready documentation that can be included directly within submission packs.
UltraGreen™ has been developed to help address that challenge… combining measurable carbon reduction with independently verified evidence that supports project reporting and compliance requirements.
DH Stainless Ltd can help address that challenge thanks to UltraGreen™.
UltraGreen™ is manufactured using one of the lowest-carbon stainless steel production processes currently available and delivers:
- Up to 50% reduction in baseline CO₂ emissions
- Near-zero carbon stainless steel production (<1 tonne CO₂ per tonne of steel)
- 90% recycled content
- Renewable energy–powered manufacturing
- TÜV SÜD–verified Product Carbon Footprint (aligned to ISO 14067)
- Environmental Product Declarations are available
For the team here at DH Stainless, this is about more than documentation. It is about delivering measurable carbon reduction, supported by credible evidence.

Why is this of interest?
Tier-1 contractors and their sustainability consultants are under increasing pressure to evidence Scope 3 reductions, particularly within high-energy sectors such as data centres. In this environment, sustainability claims must be supported by credible documentation. Without it, project teams can face delays, compliance challenges, or difficulties validating carbon reporting.
UltraGreen™ helps address these challenges by providing both measurable carbon reduction and supporting documentation:
- Offering quantifiable embodied carbon reduction
- Is supported by audit-ready PCF and EPD documentation
- Can seamlessly integrate into existing specifications
- Requires no change to procurement routes
- Does not compromise on performance or reliability
The same engineering outcome, but with significantly lower carbon impact!
Additional context around CBAM
As carbon regulation evolves, mechanisms such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) are also becoming increasingly relevant for project procurement. Because UltraGreen™ is manufactured in Europe it offers an additional layer of commercial stability and supply chain transparency for organisations operating within European markets.
For procurement teams, this means greater confidence around both carbon reporting and regulatory compliance when selecting materials for long-term infrastructure projects.
Designed with Data Centre Projects in Mind
Across the UK and into Europe, Data centres are one of the most carbon-intensive infrastructure sectors currently under development. For projects like this, sustainability requirements are no longer optional ‘nice-to-haves’. They are inextricably embedded within procurement models and consultant assessments.
Here at DH Stainless, we have positioned our UltraGreen™
- Tier 1 main contractors
- Sustainability and ESG leads
- Mechanical consultants and design teams
- Commercial and Quantity Surveyor teams managing embodied carbon reporting
And that support is coupled with the expert technical and commercial consistency you already know and now expect from the team here at DH Stainless
Evidence First.
UltraGreen™ is supported by:
- TÜV SÜD–verified Product Carbon Footprint (ISO 14067 aligned)
- Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)
- Customer-safe Evidence Packs available on request!
We absolutely understand and recognise that sustainability teams carry significant accountability for reporting, but we know that they are not always backed up by supplier documentation that they can rely on. UltraGreen™ helps close that gap by providing credible, independently verified data that can support project submissions and sustainability reporting.
Would UltraGreen™ support your next project?
If you are currently:
- Using generic carbon factors due to lack of supplier data that you can rely on,
- Being asked for product-specific PCF or EPDs at short notice,
- Preparing Scope 3 reporting for data centre projects that you’re working on,
- Or reviewing supply chain risk ahead of an impending audit,
Then, you’ve come to the right place!!!
The DH Stainless team would be happy to share the UltraGreen™ Evidence Pack and discuss how the product could support your project requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
Here’s just a selection of some of the more commonly asked questions about UltraGreen™
What is UltraGreen™?
UltraGreen™ is a near-zero carbon stainless steel tube range supplied by DH Stainless. It delivers up to 50% lower baseline CO₂ emissions compared to conventional stainless steel, while maintaining the same performance, grades and dimensional standards.
How much carbon reduction does UltraGreen™ really achieve?
UltraGreen™ reduces baseline CO₂ emissions by up to 58% compared with conventional stainless steel production. It achieves below 1 tonne of CO₂ emissions per tonne of stainless steel produced.
Full Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) documentation is available.
What grades and sizes are available?
UltraGreen™ is available in:
- 304L
- 316L
- DN65 – DN600
All supplied to the same technical and quality standards customers expect from DH Stainless.
Does UltraGreen™ require changes to specifications?
Not at all! UltraGreen™ is engineered to meet the same technical and performance requirements as Tru-Bore™ tube. It can be integrated into existing specifications and procurement routes without redesign.
What is a PCF and why does it matter?
A Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) measures the total greenhouse gas emissions associated with a specific product. UltraGreen™ is supported by a TÜV SÜD–verified PCF aligned to ISO 14067, providing audit-ready evidence for Scope 3 reporting, embodied carbon assessments and tender submissions.
Is an EPD available?
Yes, absolutely! An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is available, providing independently verified environmental data suitable for project submissions and certification schemes. Just get in touch and we’ll get a copy over to you as soon as we can!
How does UltraGreen™ support Scope 3 reporting?
For many Tier 1 contractors and infrastructure projects, supply chain materials represent the largest proportion of Scope 3 emissions. UltraGreen™ enables measurable carbon reduction at product level, supported by third-party verified documentation suitable for reporting and audit purposes.
Can I receive documentation for tender submissions?
Yes! We’re here to make your life easier! DH Stainless can provide a customer-safe Evidence Pack including:
- TÜV SÜD–verified PCF
- EPD
- Detailed technical submittal
- Supporting carbon reduction data
Just get in touch!
Which sectors is UltraGreen™ most suitable for?
UltraGreen™ is suitable for every sector but will provide the most benefit to projects where the client is looking to make significant CO2 reductions.
Why shouldn’t we just use generic carbon factors?
Generic carbon factors are often used when product-specific data is unavailable. However, they can weaken reporting confidence and tender scoring. UltraGreen™ on the other hand, provides verified, product-specific carbon data, which reduces the reliance on assumptions.
