TRU-PURE™ Eccentric Reducer Weld Ends (Type A)
The Eccentric Reducer Weld Ends Type A is a sanitary fitting designed to transition between differing pipe sizes while maintaining a consistent bottom line, preventing fluid pooling in horizontal piping systems.
With weld ends on both sides and a gradual offset reduction, this Type A configuration ensures a smooth, hygienic flow path—ideal for drainability in clean-in-place (CIP) and sterilize-in-place (SIP) systems.
Fabricated to ASME BPE standards and available in SF1 and SF4 surface finishes, the eccentric reducer supports optimal flow dynamics and cleanliness, making it especially suitable for biopharmaceutical, life sciences, and other high-purity process environments
